SRID Kit for the quantification of native IgG1 in bovine colostrum and derivatives and in calves sera.
Single Radial Immunodiffusion (SRID) is the “Gold Standard Method” for the determination of native IgG1 in colostrum and its derivatives.
The kit contains 25 IDRing plates, a calibration set (4 standards) and dilution buffer for samples. Each plate allows to analyse 10 samples (standards included).
Our Bovine IgG Test kit is intended for:
- Control of the quality of bovine colostrum (concentration of native IgG1) used for calves nutrition and for the manufacture of colostro replacers.
- The monitoring of the level of native IgG1 in colostrum derivatives (powder, serocolostrum, colostrum paste, syrups, …) used as nutraceuticals.
- Study of Failure Passive Transfert (FTP) of immunity in calves: measurement of IgG1 level in colostrum and in calf serum and plasma.
To ensure optimal analytical precision the test is calibrated with colostral IgG1.
NB : as this test do not cross react with Horse IgG, it can be used for the measurement of Bovine IgG in foal serum (nutrition of foal with bovine colostrum).
